Safari BBQ is not hot - it is Sosatie flavour - mild curry with a background of peach and apricot; it is tangy and fruity and sweet and spicy and it has deep roots in our South African flavour memories. It is the flavour that make locals (and South Africans who find themselves living in foreign lands) weak with nostalgia.
Delicious as a table sauce with flame grilled lamb, pork, chicken, corn or vegetable skewers - in fact, if its been grilled, it will probably taste great with Safari BBQ!
Nice to know: 2,5% of the sales price of this product is paid to the Fair Trade Trust that pays the school fees of more or less 200 children per year - every year since 2003...
