Sosatie (aka Safari BBQ) is not hot - it is mild curry with a background of peach and apricot; it is tangy and fruity and sweet and spicy and it has deep roots in our South African flavour memories. It is the flavour that make locals (and South Africans who find themselves living in foreign lands) weak with nostalgia.
Delicious as a table sauce with flame grilled lamb, pork, chicken, corn or vegetable skewers - in fact, if its been grilled, it will probably taste great with Safari BBQ!
